GP Extended Access has been rolled out in Mansfield & Ashfield for improved access to general practice services. PICS acts as the umbrella organisation providing governance, bespoke S1 unit & operational support to manage the service. The system has been set up using a Systm1 Bolt on Unit to allow booking of patients across a federation of GP practices, this enables full visibility of the patient record to the consulting clinician. Training on the system, updates and reviews are provided by the PICS team and the ongoing administration is also carried out by the PICS Team.
