On the 9^th November, Meden Medical Services held their annual Open Day. In former years the Open Day was run from Meden Vale so this was our first Open Day at Warsop Primary Care Centre. The day was organised and managed with the help of our Patient Group.

We would like to thank everyone who attended our open day including patients who attended for their flu vaccine. The patient group members who offered refreshments, raffle prizes and the opportunity to join the patient group as well as meeting and greeting patients and distributing our recent newsletter. Also thanks to staff for working at the weekend.

Also in attendance were Mansfield District Council, Healthy Life Scheme promoting exercise and BIG Warsop promoting community projects and groups. Our HCA also offered no appointment blood pressure checks.

We had a brilliant turn out and the patient group raised £108 from the raffle. This will be put towards some new equipment for our nursing team.

Thanks again to everyone who made our Open Day a great success. We look forward to next year and welcome any ideas for health promotion that we could incorporate next time.
