PICS is thrilled that members of our staff have been selected as ambassadors of a country-wide media campaign to highlight new services and care available from General Practice.
Catherine Seals, Mental Health Occupational Therapist and Gareth Dixon, Health and Wellbeing Coach both feature in a new campaign from NHS England that launched across the country in October 2022. Their profiles highlight just some of the new roles and specialist services available from local General Practice surgeries to members of the public and other health and social care professionals.
Earlier this year, Gareth and Catherine volunteered to take part in a photo shoot run by NHS England and were supported to get involved by their teams in Nottingham West Primary Care Network in South Nottinghamshire Place Based Partnership and Rosewood Primary Care Network in Mid Nottinghamshire.
The entire campaign features lots about the roles over posters, flyers, social media posts and more: NHS General Practice Team | Campaign Resource Centre (phe.gov.uk)
Roz Stannard, PICS Communications and Engagement Manager said: “A big thanks to Catherine and Gareth for participating in an important campaign that explains how General Practice is working hard to support patients. It’s fantastic to see local faces helping encourage people to contact their local surgeries for the care they need.”
