On Monday 15 May, PICS was invited to showcase some of our green initiatives at the annual Nottingham Integrated Care System’s Partners Assembly. We presented to just under 140 attendees from organisations across our health and care system about Green Social Prescribing, sustainability and carbon zero initiatives within PICS, and the low carbon footprint of community and primary care services.

During the keynote presentations from system leaders, Nottingham West Primary Care Network’s work with Dementia and our End of Life Together Partnership with Mid Nottinghamshire’s Place Based Partnership were highlighted as good practice in collaboration. PICS staff were also asked to facilitate on two of the table discussions, reflecting our integral role in the system development.
