Clinical
Clinical Pharmacist
At PICS, we recognise the importance of the support provided by Clinical Pharmacists within PCNs. The Clinical Pharmacist will act within their professional boundaries, supporting and working alongside a team of Pharmacists in General Practice.
Pharmacy Technician
Pharmacy Technicians play an important role in complementing the Pharmacy Team and other members of the PCN multi-disciplinary team. Pharmacy Technicians work under supervision to ensure effective and efficient use of medicines.
Mental Health Occupational Therapist
We have an established team of Mental Health Occupational Therapists that are dedicated about ensuring that our patients see the right person, in the right place, first time and receive quality intervention.
Paramedic
Paramedics will have the clinical experience and expertise to work within the community autonomously providing a holistic approach for patients including assessment, management and treatment to deliver high quality patient care.
Nursing Associate (Trainee)
PICS recruits Nursing Associates on behalf of the PCNS. This role requires the utilisation of a wide range of clinical skills including phlebotomy, vital signs monitoring, and ECGs. As a Trainee, we support an individual with the commitment to undertake the foundation degree programme.
Non-Clinical
Social Prescribing Link Worker
Social prescribing empowers people to take control of their health and wellbeing through referral to non-medical link workers. Link Workers support existing groups to be accessible and sustainable and help people to start new community groups, working collaboratively with all local partners.
Health and Wellbeing Coach
Health and Wellbeing Coaches engage with and support patients in making healthy lifestyle choices in respect to their physical and mental health in line with NHS recommendations.
GP Practice Receptionist
Our reception team have the first contact with all patients and visitors. You need to have a good listening ear, be informative and friendly, and hardworking to support the GP Team.
Administrator
PICS seeks people who are dedicated, enthusiastic, shares our values and our passion for good quality patient focused care. Administrators provide administration support including dealing with patient telephone queries, record keeping and booking appointments.
